

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), on Tuesday announced the squads for India Women’s upcoming tour in Australia.
The tour will begin with 3 ODIs on September 19, 22, and 24, followed by a historic Day-Night Test, the first for Indian women – at the W.A.C.A. Ground in Perth. The tour will conclude around mid October with three T20Is, scheduled in Sydney.
Selectors picked the same 18-woman squad for the Test match and the ODI series, led by Mithali Raj, as they did for the England tour. While Harmanpreet Kaur will lead the 17-member T20I squad.
Priya Punia, wicketkeeper Indrani Roy, Arundhati Reddy and spinner Radha Yadav, who were all a part of the women’s squad against England for the one-off Test at Bristol in June this year have seen missing their name in the Test and ODI squad this time. Notably, Yastika Bhatia and Renuka Singh Thakur have been added in the 18-member Test squad.
