“Pakistan Will Never Forget”: Virender Sehwag Warns Pakistan of Serious Consequences

Sehwag slams Pakistan on X amid Operation Sindoor, backs Indian forces after terror attack kills 26 in Pahalgam

Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag has strongly condemned Pakistan on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), accusing it of harboring terrorists and escalating tensions with India to protect its extremist infrastructure.

Sehwag’s remarks came in the wake of Pakistan’s drone and missile attacks on Jammu and surrounding regions, following India’s launch of Operation Sindoor, a retaliatory mission after a terror attack in Pahalgam that claimed the lives of 26 innocent tourists.

“War has been chosen by Pakistan when they had an opportunity to keep quiet. They have escalated to save its terrorist assets, speaks so much about them. Our forces will reply in the most appropriate manner, a manner Pakistan will never forget,” Sehwag posted.

The ongoing conflict has impacted the cricketing world as well. The IPL 2025 match between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) was called off after just 10.2 overs due to escalating security concerns.

Sehwag, known for his patriotism and no-holds-barred commentary, joined a chorus of public figures backing the Indian armed forces, amid a period of heightened cross-border hostilities.
