“Stop Playing Cricket With Pakistan Till They Stop Terrorism” – Gautam Gambhir’s Request to BCCI
India head coach Gautam Gambhir has urged to stop playing cricket with Pakistan until they end terrorism.

India’s new head coach, Gautam Gambhir, has called for a complete boycott of cricket with Pakistan until terrorism ends. He made this strong statement during an event in Delhi, days after a deadly terror attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, where 26 people lost their lives.
Speaking at the ABP event, Gambhir said, “My personal answer is absolutely no,” when asked if India should continue playing Pakistan even at neutral venues. He added that no cricket match or Bollywood film is more valuable than the life of an Indian soldier or citizen.
“Matches will keep happening, movies will be made, singers will perform, but nothing can compare to the pain of losing a loved one,” he said firmly.
India and Pakistan have not played a bilateral series since 2013, facing each other only in big tournaments like the Asia Cup and ICC events. Gambhir clarified that the final call on this matter lies with the government and BCCI, but he urged that until terrorism stops, there should be no cricket ties between the two nations.
