Jofra Archer, who is making his return after an elbow injury picked up two wickets for Sussex 2nd XI in the first innings of their Second Eleven Championship match against Surrey 2nd XI.
Archer last featured in an international fixture during the five-match T20I series against India at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad but missed the three-match One Day series against the same opponents. However, after surgeries and proper treatment the 26-year-old has returned to competitive cricket.

The right-arm fast bowler dismissed middle-order batsman NMJ Reifer and tail-ender James Taylor in the first innings. While Taylor handed a catch to substitute fielder Henderson, Reifer was stunned by a banana inswinger from Jofra Archer.
The video of the spectacular delivery bowled by Jofra was shared on the official Twitter handle of Sussex as they wrote, “Not a bad delivery! Two wickets for Jofra Archer against Surrey’s second XI yesterday, including this one.”

Jofra Archer Expected To Feature In IPL 2021
With IPL 2021 postponed, there is a possibility that Jofra Archer could turn up for the Rajasthan Royals whenever the season resumes.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is now planning to host the league in September just before the ICC T20 World Cup. The same means that Archer can take part in the league if remains fit.
Meanwhile, Archer will be keen to be fully fit ahead of England’s home Test series against New Zealand and India.
