‘Kutte Ki Dum…’: Virender Sehwag Slams Pakistan After Ceasefire Violation
Virender Sehwag took a sharp dig at Pakistan after the ceasefire was broken again.

Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag has once again grabbed attention with his sharp words. After Pakistan violated the ceasefire agreement with India on Saturday, Sehwag took to social media and fired a strong jibe that many saw as a direct hit at Pakistan.
Posting on X (formerly Twitter), Sehwag shared a photo with the line:
“Kutte ki dum tedi ki tedi hi rehti hai.” This famous saying is often used to describe those who never change, no matter what. It clearly pointed at Pakistan’s repeated habit of breaking ceasefire promises.
Sehwag, who is famously called the Sultan of Multan after his iconic triple century in Pakistan, had earlier blamed Pakistan for the rising tensions. A day before the ceasefire violation, he wrote on X:
“War has been chosen by Pakistan when they had an opportunity to keep quiet. They have escalated to save its terrorist assets, speaks so much about them. Our forces will reply in the most appropriate manner, a manner Pakistan will never forget.”
The situation along the border has become tense once again. Just hours after both countries announced a truce, loud explosions were reported across the International Border and Line of Control (LoC).
Pakistani drones reportedly targeted areas in Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, and Rajasthan. The panic was clear in Jammu and Kashmir, where Chief Minister Omar Abdullah posted on X:
“What the hell just happened to the ceasefire? Explosions heard across Srinagar !!!” He added, “This is no ceasefire. The air defence units in the middle of Srinagar just opened up.”
The fresh violence comes after a deadly terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22, which killed 26 people, most of them tourists. In response, India launched Operation Sindoor on May 7, striking nine terrorist bases deep inside Pakistan.
