

The players’ draft for the 2023 edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) took place on Thursday, December 15, in Karachi.
Over 500 players took part in the draft. Teams had to pick from the Platinum, Diamond, Gold, Silver, Emerging, and Supplementary categories.
Islamabad United, who had an average outing in the 2022 edition of the Pakistan Super League, where they won four matches out of the ten they played, made some drastic changes to their squad ahead of PSL 2023.

The eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is scheduled to commence on February 9, 2023, with the final of the tournament set to be held on March 19.
The tournament will be held across four venues, as they did in PSL 2020, with Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi being the respective hosts.
