After Babar Azam-led Pakistan defeated Virat Kohli and co to register their first win against arch-rivals India at the ICC T20 World Cup, overjoyed cricket fans were quick to take the streets of Pakistan to celebrate the historic victory.

Interestingly rather amusingly, firecrackers were also burst in some parts of India after Pakistan’s remarkable victory over the Kohli-led side at the T20 World Cup.

Former Indian opener, Virender Sehwag, meanwhile opened up and mocked the senseless ban on Diwali celebrations and has questioned the bursting of firecrackers after India’s loss to Pakistan in the T20 World Cup match.

“Firecrackers are banned during Diwali but yesterday in parts of India there were firecrackers to celebrate Pakistan ‘s victory. Achha they must have been celebrating victory of cricket. Toh, what’s the harm in fireworks on Diwali. Hypocrisy kyun ,Saara gyaan tab hi yaad aata hai,” Tweeted the former Indian opener.

The Tweet has received supports from thousands of fans more with netizens appreciating the cricketer for his take on pointless ban on firecrackers.

Here it is worth mentioning that Kohli, earlier this month shared a video on his social media to advise the people to ensure a safe Diwali and avoid the bursting of firecrackers.

However, the netizens weren’t happy with the Indian skipper’s message, and they trolled him for the same and asked him to focus on his game and help India win the T20 World Cup.

Talking about India vs Pakistan game, India were offered to bat first after losing the toss. India, batting first were restricted to a modest total of 151/7 in the first innings. In reply, Pakistan openers Mohammad Rizwan (79*) and skipper Babar Azam (68*) helped Pakistan to a memorable victory as they chased the target with 13 balls to spare.
