The Indian Premier League (IPL) has seen number of young talented stars emerge from various franchises, who with their performances make sure to get a place in the Indian team.
While fans love seeing a young and energetic side playing for Team India, they also get interested in their personal life. Something similar happened with the young CSK star Ruturaj Gaikwad, the young batsman who had made his debut for Chennai Super Kings in the year 2020.
Though he failed in the first few matches, but was able to make amends with his half-centuries in the second half of the tournament. In 2021, the right-hander had a similar start but made a comeback soon.
Now, with the IPL being postponed due to COVID-19, people are looking and wanting to know what is happening in the life of the star batsman.
Soon there were rumors about him being in a relationship with Marathi actress Sayali Sanjeev. The speculations came to the fore after their interaction on the social media platform. Earlier, Sayali shared some of her pictures on Instagram.
Thereafter, Gaikwad reacted to the actresses’ post and wrote, ‘Woahh.’ The actress responded to the cricketer’s comment with some heart emojis. Their short conversation was enough for the netizens to make all sorts of speculations regarding their relationship.
But it looks like Gaikwad has silenced rumours with his last post where he says only a bowler can get his wicket clean bowled. The CSK opener wrote that in Marathi.
“Only bowlers can take my wicket, that too clean bowled. Not anyone else. And whoever wanted to understand, have understood,” he wrote in Marathi.
Sayali is a popular actress and has featured in a lot of Marathi TV soaps. She is known for the Zee Marathi Serial ‘Kahe Diya Pardes’ where she is doing a lead role of ‘Gauri’. Sayali is born in Dhule District in Maharashtra and has completed her school from Dhule and college from Nasik by doing an arts degree.
In the recently-suspended IPL 2021, Gaikwad continued his fine form at the top for CSK and formed a formidable opening partnership with in-form Faf du Plessis. In seven matches, the stylish right-hander scored 196 runs at an average of 28 including two fifties.
Gaikwad is likely to continue to be CSK’s first-choice opener along with Du Plessis for the remainder of the season when the tournament resumes later this year. CSK won five out of their first seven matches and were placed on the second spot on the points table before the tournament’s indefinite suspension.
