The 52nd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 will be played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah.
Troubled by two consecutive defeats, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will try to secure a place in the playoffs by winning the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Sharjah on Saturday but the task will not be easy for Kohli’s side as Sunrisers Hyderabad is also in the race for the playoffs and is full of excitement after the massive victory against Delhi Capitals.
At present, Chennai Super Kings is the only team to be eliminated from the playoff race. So far, only Mumbai Indians have been confirmed in the playoffs. Except for Chennai Super Kings, the remaining six teams remain in the race of playoffs.
Despite losing the last two matches to Chennai and Mumbai, RCB is still in a better position than the SunRisers Hyderabad in the points table. RCB will have to win one of the last two matches against the Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals to ensure a place in the playoffs. RCB will still have 14 points after losing both their matches and can still qualify on the basis of better net run rate, but for this, they will need favourable results in other matches as well. However, the loss of the last two matches will affect the net run rate of RCB and in such a situation, their path for the playoff will become difficult.
SunRisers Hyderabad, on the other hand, currently have 10 points from 12 matches. They will have to win both the remaining matches to keep their hopes of a place in the knockout alive. Winning both matches will not be enough for the Hyderabad, they would have to hope that none of RCB, Delhi (both 14) and Kings XI Punjab (12 points) could reach 16 points. In such a situation David Warner led side could reach the playoffs at a better run rate.

Pitch Report
A high-scoring game could be seen in Sharjah, due to small dimensions of the ground. The new-ball bowlers have enjoyed some swing early on in IPL 2020 although with the pitch slowing down as the match progresses, spinners should have a say in the scheme of things.
Dew is expected to play a part, which could mean that both teams might look to chase after winning the toss.
Weather Forecast
The Weather will be quite cool in Sharjah on Saturday. It will definitely help players. The temperature will keep falling as the match progresses and it will be around 24-29 degree Celsius.
