International League T20 (ILT20) franchise Dubai Capitals (DC) has signed former India all-rounder Yusuf Pathan for the inaugural edition of the UAE’s T20 tournament.
Dubai Capitals confirmed the development on their social media accounts on Monday, December 19. He is among the late additions to the Dubai Capitals’ squad following the change in rules.
Initially, the participating teams were allowed to have a maximum of 18 members in their squad. However, as per the new rules, sides can expand their squad up to 25 players, given that they have enough funds.
The hard-hitting all-rounder announced his retirement from international cricket and the Indian Premier League (IPL) in February last year. He recently took part in the Road Safety World Series and the Legends League Cricket, where he looked in great touch.
Yusuf Pathan finished the 2022 edition of the Legends League Cricket as the second-highest run-scorer. He mustered 184 runs in 7 outings at an average of 30.66 while representing the Bhilwara Kings.
