CPL 2021: Barbados Tridents Bolstered By Mohammad Amir Signing

Barbados Tridents Have Sign Mohammad Amir For CPL 2021.

Barbados Tridents have roped in former Pakistan bowler Mohammad Amir for the 2021 edition of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). The 29 year old has played loads of T20 cricket before hanging his boots from international cricket last year.

However, Amir has not played international cricket since August 2020. He last played an ODI for Pakistan in October 2020. Amir had a fall-out with head coach Misbah and bowling coach Waqar Younis and he said he will not play for Pakistan until the two members of the support staff remain in charge.

The Caribbean Premier League (CPL 2021) will start from August 28 and will conclude with the final at the Warner Park here on September 19. All the 33 matches will be played at this venue in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic and there will be strict bio-bubble protocols for all involved.
