In a surprising turn of events, Virat Kohli, known for his prowess with the bat, was seen practising his bowling skills at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium before the upcoming match against Sri Lanka. Jasprit Bumrah closely watched as Kohli delivered a ball, signalling for a wide ball.
The 34-year-old did a little bit of bowling action against Bangladesh in Pune earlier in the tournament when Hardik Pandya hurt his ankle after bowling only three balls. Kohli then took charge and bowled the rest of the over, giving away a measly two runs.
