Kuldeep Yadav was caught on camera slapping Rinku Singh after the game, and the video has now gone viral on social media.
In the clip, both Kuldeep and Rinku were seen laughing and chatting with a few other players after the match. However, things took an unexpected turn when Kuldeep suddenly slapped Rinku twice.
Though it seemed playful from Kuldeep’s side, Rinku looked completely shocked by the action. The KKR star even appeared angry before engaging in a serious conversation with his India teammate.
The context behind the incident is still unclear as there was no audio in the video. But fans on social media were not pleased with Kuldeep’s behaviour. Many users expressed their anger and even demanded that BCCI take action against the Delhi Capitals spinner by banning him.
Talking about the match, Kolkata Knight Riders kept their playoff hopes alive with a crucial 14-run win over Delhi Capitals. Invited to bat first, KKR posted a strong total of 204 for 9, thanks to a combined effort from their batters.
Their bowlers then did the job, with Sunil Narine leading the attack with figures of 3 for 29. Despite fighting knocks from Faf du Plessis (62), Axar Patel (43), and Vipraj Nigam (38), Delhi Capitals fell short and ended at 190 for 9.
