Team India, on Saturday suffered a massive innings loss in the Third Test against England in Headingley. Starting from where they left on Day 3 of the match, Team India once again suffered a batting collapse as they got reduced to 215 for 2 to 278 all out in an hour and a half.
Most of their batters were dismissed in the same manner – either caught behind by wicket-keeper or at slip cordon. After facing a brutal defeat, Virat Kohli was all set to answer all the questions in the post-match conference as a responsible leader.
However, one journalist tried to provoke the Indian captain by asking a bizarre question during the conference. The journalist asked the India skipper why Indian batsmen are committed to play the good length balls on front foot and when there was an opportunity to go on to the backfoot and play, the Indian batters missed out on scoring a lot of runs.
Virat Kohli, however, did not lose his cool and tried to answer the question but the reporter interrupted him and gave the example of English batsmen, who played on the backfoot against the swing. And to this, Kohli remarkably kept his cool, and simply replied ‘Okay Thanks’.
The video of the same has been doing rounds on social media and netizens are appreciating the Indian skipper for not losing his cool.

Earlier, India opted to bat first after winning the toss and their decision somewhat backfired them as they were bowled out for a mere 78 on day 1 of the Test. England, in reply were bowled out for 432 in their first innings, thanks to Joe Root’s magnificent 121 runs.
Coming to chase in the second innings, team India were bundled up for just 278 runs and lost the match by an innings and 76 runs.
With the five-match Test series level at 1-1, both the teams will look to seal a victory in the next Test at Oval to take an unassailable lead in the series.
