Shikhar Dhawan and Dhanashree Verma rocked a Bhangra dance together in a video shared on social media.
Shikhar Dhawan, who was in great form in the ODI series against England, is known for his funky nature and great energy both on and off the field.
During the lockdown period last year, Dhawan had shared several videos of him breaking into dance with his family. Now, again he showed his dance moves with Yuzvendra Chahal’s choreographer wife Dhanashree Verma.
The Bhangra dance video was shared by both Shikhar Dhawan and Dhanashree Verma on their respective Instagram handles. Dhanashree was staying with Yuzvendra during the India-England series. The couple on Tuesday left Pune to join the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) squad ahead of the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Dhawan was in brilliant form in the ODIs against England and guided India to a series win with two match-winning displays. Dhawan missed out an 18th ODI hundred by just two runs in the first ODI but his 98 helped India post 316 runs on the scoreboard and then defeat England by 66 runs.
In the final ODI, Dhawan scored a valuable half-century and gave India a perfect start with a century-run opening stand with Rohit Sharma. He will now open the batting for Delhi Capitals in IPL 2021 and will hope to lead the side to a maiden IPL glory this season after the final heartbreak last year.
