Jasprit Bumrah, on Saturday, took his second five-wicket haul at Trent Bridge to restrict the hosts for the score of 303, with the lead of 208 runs.
Bumrah’s first five-wicket haul at Trent Bridge came in 2018 against the same opposition. Bumrah, on Friday first dismissed Dom Sibley (28 off 133) to give England their second breakthrough and went on to dismiss Zak Crawley (6 off 7), Joe Root (109 off 172), Sam Curran (32 off 45) and Stuart Broad (0 off 1) to claim his second five-wicket haul at this venue.
With match bowling figures of 39.4-6-104-9, Bumrah narrowly missed out on picking 10 wickets in a Test match but his praiseworthy efforts in both innings have worked wonders for his team.
Apart from Bumrah, Shardul Thakur and Mohammed Siraj also picked a couple of wickets each today.

Coming to chase, India openers KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma are currently in the middle witnessing the English attack. At the time of writing, the Karnataka-born is playing at 22 off 33 while Rohit is playing at 5 off 21. A formidable partnership between these two can help India seal a victory in the opening match of the 5-Match Test series.
