Trailblazers won the Women's T20 Challenge championship for the first time by defeating Supernovas in the Women's T20 Challenge Final. railblazers gave Supernovas a target of 119 runs. In response, the Supernovas team managed to score 102 runs at the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs.
Supernovas defeated Trailblazers by 2 runs. At post-match presentation, Trailblazers skipper Smriti Mandhana said, this match is a wake-up call for them and the fielding unit. I think we gave them 15-20 runs extra in the fielding and we'll work hard on that before the Final.
TRL vs SPN: Supernovas defeated Trailblazers by 2 runs in the third match of Women's T20 Challenge. Supernovas won the toss and gave a target of 147 runs while batting first. In response, Trailblazers were able to score 144 runs for 5 wickets in 20 overs.
Mitali Raj and Co won the match by five wickets against Supernovas in the first match of Women's T20 Challenge. Mithali Raj said in post-match presentation that “Back to back games can be difficult, because we aren't getting time to recover”
BCCI has announced the schedule of Women's T20 Challenge Series i.e. Women's IPL. The tournament will have 4 matches including the finals between 3 teams Supernovas, Velocity and Trailblazers. The final will be played on 9 November in the UAE.
BCCI have announced the squad for Women's T20 Challenge Series which is going to held in the UAE. Mithali Raj, Harmanpreet Kaur and Smriti Mandhana have been selected as captains for their respective franchises.
