Lahore Qalandars confirmed Liam Dawson's unavailability for the entire season.

Lahore Qalandars have been dealt another blow as their all-rounder Liam Dawson has been ruled out of the remainder of the Pakistan Super League 2023 due to an ankle injury sustained during Sunday’s match against Karachi Kings at the National Bank Cricket Arena.

Following the match against Karachi Kings, the Lahore Qalandars management confirmed that Liam Dawson would not be available for the remainder of the Pakistan Super League 2023 due to injury. Dawson had an underwhelming performance, with just one run and one wicket, as Qalandars suffered a 67-run defeat.

Later, Dawson took to Instagram to confirm his unavailability for the rest of the Pakistan Super League 2023:

“Disappointed to be ruled out of the rest of the PSL due to injury. Thank you Lahore Qalandars for the opportunity to play in Pakistan again. Good luck for the remaining games.”

In light of Liam Dawson’s injury, the Lahore Qalandars management is now on the lookout for a potential replacement for the all-rounder and will be making an announcement shortly.

As far as Lahore Qalandars’ tournament campaign is concerned, they have only managed to win one of their two matches so far, leaving them at the bottom of the PSL 8 points table. They are in need of a significant turnaround in their campaign.
