IPL 2023: Yuzvendra Chahal Enters Record Books as First Indian to Achieve Incredible T20 Wicket-Taking Feat

Yuzvendra Chahal has etched his name in the history books by becoming the first Indian cricketer to take 300 wickets in T20s during Rajasthan Royals’ opening match of the Indian Premier League 2023 against the Sunrisers Hyderabad at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Sunday, April 2nd.

Chahal He achieved this feat by dismissing Harry Brook, the new recruit of Hyderabad. Out of the 300, Chahal has taken 91 wickets in international cricket. This was also his first wicket in the 2023 edition of the tournament.

Chahal produced a masterclass with the ball as Rajasthan Royals steamrolled Sunrisers Hyderabad by 72 runs in the fourth match of the IPL 2023. The leg-spinner picked up four wickets while conceding just 17 runs in his four-over spell.
