In the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Rajasthan Royals will now lock horns with KL Rahul led Kings XI Punjab. The match is to be played at Sharjah Cricket Stadium. While Sanju Samson would like to continue his fine form, the presence of Jos Buttler will further strengthen the Rajasthan Royals team. On the other hand, Kings XI Punjab would like to continue their winning rhythm after registering a huge victory against RCB.
Ahead the match, former India cricketer and cricket analyst Sanjay Manjrekar has chosen his own Fantasy XI. He has given place to five Indians and six foreign cricketers among these 11 players. Jos Buttler, who is going to make a comeback for Rajasthan Royals, is also given a place in this special playing XI list of Manjrekar.
KL Rahul led Kings XI Punjab suffered a super over defeat against Delhi Capitals in their first match of this season, but the team made a stunning comeback against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). KL Rahul had played a spectacular inning of 132* runs, which is the biggest innings played as an Indian or captain in the IPL. In fact, he has become the first Indian player to score the fastest 2000 runs in IPL history, leaving behind Sachin Tendulkar.
At the same time, Steve Smith led Rajasthan Royals easily defeated Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in their opening match. From Royals side, Sanju Samson emerged as a star player of the team. He played a blistering inning in the previous match for his team. He smashed 74 runs off just 32 balls. Buttler’s comeback will further strengthen Rajasthan Royals batting. In bowling, Ravi Bishnoi of Kings XI Punjab has impressed so far and Manjrekar has given him a place in this list.
