There is now less than a week left for the Indian Premier League (IPL) to create a buzz in the cricket world. All the teams are preparing vigorously for the tournament.
Apart from this, veteran cricketers, experts and analysts are also choosing their favourite teams or playing XI for the IPL teams before the tournament starts. Recently, Aakash Chopra, a former Indian cricketer and commentator who has picked a possible playing XI of Delhi Capitals and Kings XI Punjab has now picked his ideal playing XI of Mumbai Indians.
Former Indian cricket team opener and currently cricket commentator Aakash Chopra has selected Mumbai Indians’ best playing XI for the first match for the 2020 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Aakash Chopra has selected the playing XI with which Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma can take the field against Chennai Super Kings in the first match on 19 September.
Aakash has selected captain Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock as the openers of Mumbai Indians. According to Chopra, if both of them give a stormy start to the team, then the Mumbai team can achieve any goal against the opposition team.
Cricketer turned commentator, Aakash Chopra has placed Ishan Kishan at number three, while he has found Suryakumar Yadav suitable for number four. At the same time, Chopra has chosen legendary all-rounder Kieron Pollard of the Caribbean team at number five. Aakash Chopra has included four all-rounders, not one or two, in the Mumbai team. Apart from Pollard, the team consists of Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya and Nathan Coulter Nile.
Former Indian cricketer turned commentator has retained Hardik Pandya at number 6, Krunal Pandya at number 7 and Nathan Coulter Nile at number 8.

Coming to bowling, Aakash Chopra has placed Jaspreet Bumrah, Trent Boult and Rahul Chahar in the Mumbai Indians’ probable best final 11. Bumrah and Bolt are purely fast bowlers, while Rahul Chahar is a full spinner, but he does not have much experience.
