IPL 2024: [Watch] Shubman Gill Takes A Brutal Dig at Shah Rukh Khan Through Ed Sheeran

Shubman Gill shared an exciting encounter with music icon Ed Sheeran, who graced India with his presence during his tour. The two indulged in a friendly game of cricket, with Sheeran documenting their interaction in a video posted online.

As they sat down to eat, Ed Sheeran, in the company of comedian Tanmay Bhat, shared his plans to dine with Shah Rukh Khan. Without missing a beat, Shubman Gill jokingly injected, “Ask him why he didn’t retain me?”

Kolkata Knight Riders, under the ownership of Shah Rukh Khan, invested INR 1.8 crore to acquire Shubman Gill’s services post his magnificent performance in the Under-19 World Cup.

Gill represented KKR from 2018 to 2022 until his release before the mega auction 2022, following which he was picked up by Gujarat Titans. Currently, Gill captains Gujarat Titans in IPL 2024.
