The ninth match of the Indian Premier League 2024 will be played against the Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals. The match will be played on 28th March in Sawai Mansingh Indoor Stadium.

Known as RR‘s fortress, the Royals defeated LSG in the first match at the same ground. Delhi on the other hand is coming from a daunting defeat in Mullanpur against the Punjab Kings.

  1. The Rajasthan Royals Skipper Sanju Samson is 30 runs away from reaching the milestone of scoring 4000 runs in the IPL. Currently, he has scored 3970 runs in 153 innings with three hundreds to his name
  2. Yuzvendra Chahal is one wicket shy of taking 50 wickets for RR. After taking the 50th wicket he will become the second spinner and fourth overall to take 50-plus wickets. He will also become the fastest bowler to take 50 scalps for RR.
  3. David Warner is one-fourth away from hitting 650 fours in IPL. He currently stands with 649 fours looking to achieve the record for most fours, making him only the second batter to achieve this feat. The first one was Shikhar Dhawan, who currently has 750 fours in the IPL.
