Shahrukh Khan, co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), could face a ban from Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata following reports of him smoking during the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in IPL 2024.

Notably, Shahrukh found himself banned for five years from MCA premises, Wankhede Stadium included, following a clash with security and cricket officials in 2012. The ban ended three years later.

Smoking is strictly prohibited at cricket stadiums in India, with fines or bans imposed on offenders. It remains to be seen whether the authorities at Eden Gardens will take action against Shahrukh Khan if he was indeed smoking.
