Sai Sudharsan blazed a breathtaking century while Rajvardhan Hangargekar weaved his magic with a five-wicket haul, guiding India A to a thumping 8-wicket win over Pakistan A in the ACC Men’s Emerging Asia Cup 2023.
Sudharsan smashed two consecutive sixes off Shahnawaz Dahani, propelling himself beyond the hundred-run milestone and securing the victory as India chased down the modest target of 206 runs in just 36.4 overs.

Opting to bat first, Pakistan A could only muster 205 runs as India dismantled their batting lineup in 48 overs, with Rajvardhan Hangargekar impressively claiming a five-wicket haul.
Sudharsan held his ground and remained undefeated on a magnificent 104 runs off 110 deliveries, including 10 fours and three sixes. Additionally, Nikin Jose played a crucial role as the second-highest scorer for India A, contributing 53 runs from 64 balls.
This marked India A’s third consecutive win in the ongoing Emerging Asia Cup 2023, while Pakistan faced their first defeat in the tournament. Looking ahead, India A is set to clash with Bangladesh A in the second semi-final on July 21, while Pakistan A will compete against Sri Lanka A in the first semi-final on the same day.
