RCB Worth ₹2305 Cr! CSK, MI Left Behind in IPL Valuation List
RCB beat CSK to become IPL’s most valuable team after 2025 title win. IPL brand value grows to ₹1.58 lakh crore.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru are now officially the most valuable team in the IPL. After winning their maiden title in 2025, RCB have surged ahead of all other franchises, including their biggest rivals, Chennai Super Kings.
For years, RCB had a loyal fan base and massive popularity, but a title had always eluded them. That changed this season. Now, the impact of that win is visible not just on the field, but also in their brand value.
RCB At The Top, CSK Drop To Third
According to the latest brand valuation report by global investment bank Houlihan Lokey, RCB’s current brand value is $269 million (approx. ₹2305 crore). That puts them at No. 1 among all IPL teams.
Mumbai Indians are second with $242 million (₹2074 crore), while five-time champions CSK have dropped to third. CSK’s brand value now stands at $235 million (₹2014 crore).
Kolkata Knight Riders, the 2024 champions, are next on the list at No. 4 with a value of $227 million (₹1945 crore). Sunrisers Hyderabad round off the top five at $154 million (₹1319 crore).
IPL’s Overall Value Sees A Big Boost
It’s not just the teams. The IPL brand itself continues to grow. In 2025, the overall brand value of the league jumped by 12.9 percent. The total is now $18.5 billion, or roughly ₹1.58 lakh crore.
The reasons are clear. Sponsorship and viewership have both risen. Four associate sponsorships brought in ₹1485 crore for the BCCI. The league’s title sponsor deal, worth $300 million (₹2572 crore), runs through 2028.
TV numbers are strong too. Over 253 million people watched the matches on television. The final alone got 67.8 crore views on streaming platforms.
