During the IPL 2024 recent match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Delhi Capitals at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, a group of RCB fans held a placard with the message “KL Rahul Welcome to RCB 2025”
The recent crushing defeat against the Sunrisers Hyderabad was followed by a heated exchange between KL Rahul and LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka, which was caught on camera and quickly went viral.
KL Rahul, a Karnataka-born cricketer, enjoys a massive fan following in Bengaluru. He was part of RCB’s early years before moving on to the Punjab Kings and then the Lucknow Super Giants.
With the upcoming mega auction and the controversy with LSG, RCB fans see an opportunity to bring their hometown hero back.
