IPL 2024: Tom Kohler-Cadmore Makes IPL Debut for Rajasthan Royals

Tom Kohler-Cadmore replaces Jos Buttler.

The 65th match of the IPL 2024 sees Rajasthan Royals take on Punjab Kings in Guwahati. Rajasthan captain Sanju Samson won the toss and opted to bat first.

Several England players, including star opener Jos Buttler, have returned home to prepare for the upcoming national series against Pakistan ahead of the T20 World Cup.

To fill the void left by Buttler, Rajasthan has brought in Tom Kohler-Cadmore, who will be making his IPL debut as he opens the innings alongside Yashasvi Jaiswal.

Here’s what Sanju Samson said:

“We would like to bat first. Actually, this is kind of a second home for us. We have spent some time here, and we have some of the guys waiting here for the last two or three days to figure out if we have dew or not. The information is that there is very little, or actually no dew in the later stage of the game. So, I think I would like to bat first here.”
