IPL 2024: Gautam Gambhir Rejects MS Dhoni’s Theory, Says Results Matter More Than the Process

The KKR mentor, Gautam Gambhir, said that he doesn’t believe in the so-called ‘believe the process, results will come eventually’ idea, and it’s results which matter the most.
Under Gautam Gambhir’s guidance, Kolkata Knight Riders are having a sensational campaign in the IPL 2024. They have managed to win four games out of the six matches they’ve played while losing just two.
Notably, it is the former Indian captain MS Dhoni who used to say and believe that one should always trust the process and the results will come eventually. However, Gautam Gambhir does not agree with that.
“I say it very openly that results do matter to me. I don’t believe in this word called ‘Process’ & ‘Do the process right, results will take care of their own’. For me, results matter, because people come to watch KKR win,” Gambhir said in the podcast.
KKR Fanbase Is the Most Loyal in IPL: Gautam Gambhir
Gautam Gambhir further stated that the fan base of Kolkata Knight Riders is one of the most loyal fan bases in the IPL. He mentioned that with the kind of tournament campaign their fans have seen in the last couple of years, there is credit and acknowledgement for standing with them throughout.
“I genuinely and from the bottom of my heart feel that KKR has the most loyal fan base in the entire country. The reason is because, see the history of KKR, the fans have gone through a lot in the first 3 years and then the way they stuck with the team in their thick and thin shows the kind of passion they have,” Gambhir added.
Kolkata Knight Riders will be facing Royal Challengers Bangalore in the next game on April 21 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
