IPL 2024: ‘Congratulations Virat Kohli On Slowest IPL Century’ – Ex-Pakistan Pacer Rips Apart RCB Batter

Junaid Khan congratulated Virat Kohli for scoring a slowest century in IPL history.

The Indian batting giant, Virat Kohli, scored the joint-slowest century in the history of the IPL against the Rajasthan Royals on Saturday, April 6th, at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur.

Kohli reached the three-digit mark in 67 deliveries, joining Manish Pandey, who struck a century in a similar 67 deliveries against the Deccan Chargers back in 2009.

In the midst of criticism aimed at Virat Kohli for his lackluster performance, former Pakistan fast bowler Junaid Khan took to Twitter to sarcastically congratulate Kohli on achieving the slowest century in IPL history.

The 35-year-old remained unbeaten, scoring 113 runs from 72 balls as RCB posted 183 runs on the board for the loss of three wickets in the allocated 20 overs. During the interval, Virat Kohli said that the pitch was slow and sluggish.

However, in the second innings, the conditions were completely different as the Rajasthan Royals’ captain Sanju Samson and Jos Buttler took the RCB bowlers to the cleaners and chased down the target easily.
