CSK Remaining Purse for IPL 2023 Auction

INR 20.45 Crore

Earlier in the 2022 edition of IPL, CSK management decided to name all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja as their new skipper, replacing their long-serving and most successful captain MS Dhoni.

However, Chennai Super Kings had a dreadful stint under his leadership, which saw the all-rounder stepping down from the role in the mid-tournament with MS Dhoni taking over the reins again.

Chennai Super Kings failed to make an impact in the 2022 edition of IPL, having managed to win just four matches out of the 14 they played in the tournament. They finished the season at the second-last spot of the league.
