Ruturaj Gaikwad was dismissed for a golden duck in the first T20I against Australia courtesy bad call from Yashasvi Jaiswal.

Yashasvi Jaiswal, the emerging star in India’s opening batting lineup, has discussed the run-out episode with Ruturaj Gaikwad during the first T20I clash against Australia at Visakhapatnam.

Notably, Yashasvi Jaiswal’s bad call led to Ruturaj Gaikwad getting out for a diamond duck, denying him the chance to face a single ball.

Reflecting on the incident, Jaiswal, who impressed with a half-century against Australia in the second T20I, mentioned that Gaikwad handled it with humility, acknowledging such occurrences in cricket.

“It was my mistake in the last game and said sorry to Ruturaj. Accepted was my mistake. Rutu bhai is so humble and very caring. He said these kind of things keep happening in cricket.”
