

The 2023 edition of the Asia Cup will be played in a hybrid model in Sri Lanka and Pakistan from August 30 to September 17. A total of six teams, namely India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Nepal are going to compete in the continental tournament.
While India, Pakistan and Nepal have been placed in Group A, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan are in Group B. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super Fours. The final of the tournament will be played at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.

Sri Lanka Squad for Asia Cup 2023


Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) announced a 15-member squad for the upcoming Asia Cup 2023. Their star players namely Wanindu Hasaranga, Dushmantha Chameera, Lahiru Kumara and Dilshan Madushanka have ruled out of the entire tournament due to injury. Dasun Shanaka will captain the Sri Lankan side with Kusal Mendis as his deputy.
