IND vs AUS: 30 Thousand Spectators Will Get Entry in MCG for Boxing Day Test, 27 Thousand Spectators Will Be Able to Watch Day-Night Test Match

Cricket Australia announced the new allowed capacity of spectators for the Boxing Day Test match between IND vs AUS.

IND vs AUS: In the second Test played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground between India and Australia, 30 thousand spectators will be able to watch the match in the stadium every day. Cricket Australia announced this on Wednesday. Took to Twitter, Cricket Australia announced this great news for spectators. The second Test between India and Australia will be played from 26 December to 30 December.

Earlier, due to Coronavirus pandemic, Cricket Australia allowed only 25 thousand spectators to watch the match every day. It has now increased by 5 thousand more spectators.

Virat Kohli Will Return to India After First Test

The first Test played in Adelaide from 17 December, 50% i.e. 27 thousand spectators will be allowed to watch the match every day. Indian captain Virat Kohli will return to India after this match for the birth of his first child.

This will be India’s second and Australia’s 7th day-night Test match. Whereas first for both the teams.

75% of Spectators Will Get Entry For The Fourth Test

At the same time, for the third Test played at the Sydney Cricket Ground, only 50% i.e. 23 thousand spectators will get permission to watch the match every day. The third Test match will be played from 7 January. Whereas for the fourth Test starting from January 15, 75% per day i.e. 30 thousand spectators will get the entry in the stadium. The fourth and final Test match will be played at the Gaba Stadium in Brisbane.
