Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are expected to return for India’s ODI series in Australia, with BCCI to announce squads soon.

Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are set to feature in the ODI series against Australia later this month, as per reports. India will play three ODIs and five T20Is on the tour. The ODI series starts on October 19, followed by games on October 23 and 25. The T20I leg begins on October 29 and ends on November 8. Both squads are expected to be announced together.

Kohli had been in top form during the Champions Trophy, scoring 218 runs including a hundred and two fifties. Rohit also played a crucial role, with his 76 in the final against New Zealand helping India lift the trophy.

The management will also keep a close eye on Jasprit Bumrah and Shubman Gill’s workload. Both players have been playing continuously in Tests and ODIs, and with a home Test series against South Africa scheduled in November, they may be given rest if required.
