Following a long seven-year gap, the Pakistan cricket team has returned to India for the ODI World Cup. They experienced defeats in both their warm-up games against New Zealand and Australia, and their inaugural match is slated against the Netherlands on October 6 at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium.
Meanwhile, both of Team India’s warm-up matches were called off due to persistent rain. Their scheduled matches against England on September 30 in Guwahati and against the Netherlands on October 3 in Thiruvananthapuram were both abandoned without a single ball being bowled.
Rohit Sharma and Co. will kick off their World Cup 2023 campaign against Australia on October 8 in Chennai. The much-anticipated India vs Pakistan is set to be played on October 14 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
