The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACC), on Wednesday, September 13 announced their 15-member squad for the highly anticipated ICC ODI World Cup 2023, set to take place in India.
Hashmatullah Shahidi will lead the team, with the likes of Rashid Khan, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, and Mohammed Nabi being their star players in the squad. However, one notable inclusion is that of pacer Naveen-ul-Haq, who is making a comeback after missing out on the Asia Cup 2023 squad.
