IPL Final, it’s The Biggest Thing After The World Cup Final: Kieron Pollard
Ahead of the final game of the cash-rich league, Mumbai Indians’ star all-rounder Kieron Pollard has shared his thoughts on playing another final with Mumbai Indians. Pollard stated that the final game of IPL is a ‘game of pressure’. Veteran all-rounder Kieron Pollard described the final match as the most important after the World Cup.
“The name of the game is pressure, in a final. Everyone takes that pressure. You want to win and not commit a mistake, but at the end of the day, you have to try to take the finals as a normal game. Just go out there, enjoy yourself and the atmosphere,” Pollard said in a video posted by Mumbai Indians on their Twitter handle.
“Obviously, no crowds in this final, but enjoy the magnitude of it. It is an IPL final, it’s the biggest thing after the World Cup final,” he added.
Kieron Pollard has been in a brilliant form throughout the season. He is a key player of the Rohit Sharma-led side as he has contributed a lot as a batsman and a bowler. He will be vital for the team in the final where his contributions with the bat and the ball can both make a difference for Mumbai Indians. He had also led the team in the absence of Rohit Sharma.
