Tim David, the star Singapore all batter, was given a grand welcome by the Mumbai Indians camp as he joined the team ahead of the Indian Premier League 2023 season, complete with a traditional Marathi turban, known as Pheta, which has since gone viral on social media.

Tim David’s power-hitting prowess was on full display for the five-time champions in the last edition of the Indian Premier League, as he scored a total of 186 runs in just eight games with an impressive strike rate of 216.28.
Thanks to his batting exploits, Mumbai Indians decided to retain him for the upcoming IPL 2023 season, where he is expected to step into the big shoes of Kieron Pollard, who announced retirement from IPL last year and will now be serving as the team’s batting coach.
