Lucknow Super Giants pacer Naveen ul Haq bore the brunt of online trolls with mango posts following his team’s massive 81-run loss to Mumbai Indians in the Eliminator match of the ongoing Indian Premier League at Chepauk, Chennai on Wednesday.
It all started when Afghanistan pacer tried to mock Virat Kohli following his underwhelming performance against Mumbai Indians. Naveen took to Instagram and shared a story capturing Virat Kohli walking back to the dressing room, accompanied by the caption “sweet mangoes.”
Fans quickly associated the timing of the post with Virat Kohli’s dismissal, sparking discussions and speculations. Later, when RCB suffered a crucial defeat against Gujarat Titans in a must-win clash, Naveen once again shared a video with a guy laughing, prompting fans to associate it with RCB and Kohli once again.
However, now with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) eliminated from the Indian Premier League, fans and budding cricketers have taken to mocking Naveen-Ul-Haq by flooding his social media with mango emojis and circulating viral pictures.

Following Mumbai Indians’ thumping win over Lucknow Super Giants, Sandeep Warrier, who joined the team as a replacement as Jasprit Bumrah this season but is still awaiting his chance to play, shared a photo of himself alongside Vishnu Vinod and Kumar Kartikeya on his Instagram to troll Naveen-ul-Haq.
The highlight of that picture was undoubtedly the table which had mangoes placed on it, with a caption “Sweet season of mangoes.” Notably, Sandeep has now deleted that Instagram post. However, fans were quick to take a screenshot of the post.
Mumbai Indians will next lock horns with Gujarat Titans on Friday, May 26 in the Qualifier 2 at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. The winner of this match will face off against Chennai Super Kings in the final, set to take place in Ahmedabad.
