Earlier on 11 April 2010, Royals was defeated by 37 runs in Jaipur by Mumbai Indians. With this win, Mumbai reached the top of the points table with 8 points.
In the match played in Abu Dhabi, Mumbai won the toss and gave a target of 194 runs while batting first. In reply, Rajasthan was all out by scoring 136 runs in 18.1 overs. Suryakumar Yadav scored the highest 79 runs for Mumbai.
