MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings is playing their last game in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL 2020). It is 53rd match of the 13th edition of Indian Premier League where Kings XI Punjab is facing Chennai Super Kings. Undoubtedly it is a ‘Do or Die’ match for KL Rahul and Co as it is their last chance of making it to the playoffs.
Chennai Super Kings has not performed well in the season and has got eliminated from the play-off race quite early. It is the first time in the history of the IPL, where MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings hasn’t qualified play-off, despite playing the season.
Meanwhile CSK’s skipper and former Indian captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni was criticized a lot for his poor performance throughout the season. In fact, it was being speculated that this might be his last season as CSK skipper and he may not play in the next season.
