[Watch] ‘Stupid’ – Anushka Sharma Frustrated by Rishabh Pant’s Backflip Celebration in LSG vs RCB
Rishabh Pant’s backflip celebration upset Anushka Sharma during the LSG vs RCB match.
Rishabh Pant made a strong comeback to form with a brilliant century for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on Tuesday, May 27, at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
Pant came to bat early after the dismissal of Matthew Breetzke and took charge along with Mitchell Marsh. The duo added a massive 152-run partnership for the second wicket. Marsh played a quick-fire knock of 67 runs from 37 balls before getting out to Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the 16th over.
Pant, on the other hand, carried on and completed his century in just 54 balls. It was his second IPL hundred and his first since 2018. He reached the milestone with a boundary and celebrated it by doing a backflip on the field.

Despite Pant’s brilliant knock, RCB chased down LSG’s big total in the final over, thanks to a match-winning unbeaten 85 from Jitesh Sharma. With this win, RCB sealed a top-two finish and booked their spot in Qualifier 1.
