[Watch] Nicholas Pooran Destroys Mohammed Siraj After Heated Sledging Incident During GT vs LSG

Nicholas Pooran gave a fiery reply with the bat after Mohammed Siraj tried to sledge him during the GT vs LSG match.

Nicholas Pooran let his bat do the talking after being sledged by Mohammed Siraj during the Gujarat Titans vs Lucknow Super Giants match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

It all happened in the 16th over when Siraj, frustrated after a boundary by Mitchell Marsh and a four by Pooran, tried to unsettle the West Indian batter with a few words. But what followed was a brutal reply — not in words, but with the bat.

Siraj bowled a bouncer that was called wide by the umpire. He was clearly unhappy and started targeting Pooran.

The left-hander didn’t react immediately but waited for the right moment. On the next two balls, Pooran smashed a six and a four, silencing Siraj and shifting the momentum towards Lucknow.

Siraj’s figures took a beating. He had bowled well in his first three overs, giving away only 17 runs, but the final over cost him 20 runs, finishing with 37 runs from four overs.

Pooran continued his explosive batting and completed his fifth half-century of the season. Marsh, on the other hand, scored his first IPL century — a solid 117 off 64 balls.

Despite already being out of the playoff race, Lucknow Super Giants played freely and posted a massive total of 235/2 in their first innings.

Gujarat Titans, who have already qualified for the playoffs, are now aiming for a top-two finish, and LSG are in a position to spoil that.
