Ishan Kishan bowls last over mimicking Harbhajan Singh in a fun twist at Taunton

Ishan Kishan has grabbed headlines once again not just for his batting, but this time for his flair with the ball during Nottinghamshire’s County Championship clash against Somerset at Taunton.
After scoring a fluent 77 off 106 balls, Kishan surprised everyone by bowling the final over of the match, imitating none other than Harbhajan Singh’s iconic action. The left-handed wicketkeeper-batter rolled his arm over with a dramatic flourish, delivering a mix of off-spin and occasional leg-breaks, all while channeling the Turbanator’s unmistakable bowling style.
Kishan conceded just one run in the over, drawing smiles and applause from the crowd, and adding a light-hearted end to a high-scoring, hard-fought draw.

Kishan has made a strong start to his County stint, now with back-to-back fifties in red-ball cricket. He scored 87 on debut against Yorkshire and followed it up with 77 in the first innings against Somerset, showcasing his growing maturity as a red-ball batter.
In Nottinghamshire’s total of 509, Kishan was involved in a 138-run stand with centurion Jack Haynes, who hammered 157. The Jharkhand cricketer looked composed and aggressive, hitting eight boundaries and two sixes, including a stylish flick for six over fine leg off New Zealand quick Matt Henry.
Kishan eventually fell to England spinner Jack Leach, who finished with impressive figures of 6 wickets. However, Kishan’s knock proved crucial in steering Notts towards a position of strength and ensuring they avoided defeat.
