PSL 2024: Babar Azam’s Peshawar Zalmi Suffers Back-To-Back Defeats

Peshawar Zalmi are now languishing at the bottom of the points table.

Peshawar Zalmi suffered their second consecutive defeat in the Pakistan Super League 2024, falling to Karachi Kings by seven wickets in a one-sided encounter on Wednesday, February 21 at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.

Peshawar Zalmi batted first and were dismissed for 154 runs, with Babar Azam top-scoring with 72 runs off 51 balls. However, Karachi Kings chased down the target in just 16.5 overs, with Kieron Pollard’s unbeaten 49 runs from 21 balls sealing the victory.

After a 16-run loss to Quetta Gladiators in their opening game, Peshawar Zalmi has now suffered back-to-back defeats, finding themselves at the bottom of the points table.
