The former Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper, Virat Kohli, gave an angry send-off to the 24-year-old Chennai Super Kings opener, Rachin Ravindra, who made his debut for CSK in the IPL.
The New Zealand all-rounder kicked off his IPL journey impressively, notching up 37 runs from only 15 deliveries, including three boundaries and an equal number of maximums, before falling victim to Karn Sharma’s trap.
It all happened on the seventh over’s final delivery. A ball before, Rachin Ravindra had sent Karn Sharma’s delivery sailing over the ropes for a six, but the next ball proved costly.
