[Watch] Virat Kohli Frustrated by Mohammad Rizwan’s Delay in Batting

Virat Kohli was annoyed by Mohammad Rizwan's delayed arrival to the crease during India vs Pakistan World Cup 2023 match

Former Indian captain Virat Kohli was seen anxiously awaiting Mohammad Rizwan’s arrival at the crease, frustrated by the delay caused when Pakistan’s opener, Imam-ul-Haq, was dismissed.

Pakistan made a promising start with openers Imam-ul-Haq and Abdullah Shafique combining for a 41-run partnership for the first wicket. After Abdullah Shafique’s dismissal by Siraj, Imam-ul-Haq formed a 32-run partnership with captain Babar Azam for the second wicket.

However, shortly after Hardik Pandya dismissed Imam-ul-Haq, the stage was set for Mohammad Rizwan to come in, but his arrival to the crease was noticeably delayed and Virat Kohli was clearly annoyed with it, giving the ‘waiting for ages’ wrist-check look.
