Asia Cup 2023: [Watch] Babar Azam Pulls off Rishabh Pant-Inspired One-Handed Six
Babar Azam played a breathtaking knock of 151 runs in Asia Cup 2023 opener
Pakistan captain Babar Azam kept his hot streak alive in the opening Asia Cup 2023 game against Nepal as he blasted 151 runs from just 131 balls, rescuing Pakistan after a shaky start. His heroics led Pakistan to a mammoth total of 342 runs for the loss of six wickets in the allotted 50 overs.
Babar Azam’s innings began at a snail’s pace, but he kicked it into high gear later on, boosting his strike rate. While he spent a good amount of time at the crease, the Pakistan captain showcased a ton of gorgeous shots. But the one that really stood out was his epic one-handed six against Nepal’s bowler Gulshan Jha.
This one-handed six might remind you of Rishabh Pant, who’s kind of famous for busting out this shot.
