IPL 2024: Top 3 Records That Could Be Broken in Today’s RR vs GT Match

The 24th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 will be played against Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans. The match is scheduled on 10th April at 7:30 pm at Sawai Mansingh Indoor Stadium in Jaipur. 

Rajasthan Royals is currently undefeated in the tournament with all three departments excelling in the game. Be it their explosive batting or their witty spinners or the pace duo everything is sorted out currently. 

While Gujarat Titans have seen a roller-coaster tournament already in 5 matches with 2 wins and three losses. They started their campaign with a high against MI, but later lost to CSK then defeated SRH gaining momentum. But the last two lost games will put a lot of doubts in GT’s dressing room 

Rajasthan Royals are currently at the Top of the Table while Gujarat Titans is at 7th  after two tough losses.

Shubman Gill is Closer to 3000-Run Milestone 

Gujarat Titans skipper Shubman Gill had a tremendous season in IPL 2023 winning the orange cap. In 2024 too he scored 183 runs in 5 games displaying his great touch, Gill is eyeing a milestone. Shubman Gill needs 25 runs to complete 3000 runs in the IPL. 

Ashwin Sets Sights on 5 Catches

Ravichandran Ashwin is a valuable asset from bowling for Rajasthan Royals but he has also made important runs at crunch moments for RR scoring quick runs also sticking at one end. But he is all set to create a record in an aspect much talked about, his fielding 

Ravichandran Ashwin (44) needs seven catches to complete 50 catches in India’s biggest cricket carnival. 

Hetmyer is all Set to Breach 4000-Run Mark 

The Hard-hitting Calypso batter Shimron Hetmyer is all set to reach a milestone. Hetmyer ‘s services haven’t really been needed for RR this season but as deeper the tournament gets his role will be a key. Shimron Hetmyer (3943) needs forty-six runs more to reach the 4000-run landmark in the T20s. 

This is a repeat of the 2022 IPL Final where GT defeated RR but this year the tables have turned and RR would be looking for revenge.
